Insitu clean up at the Golden Service Awards

Celebrations could be heard at this year’s Golden Service Awards as Insitu were awarded with an ‘Oscar’ for their outstanding levels of service at the Thistle hotel Charing Cross.

Having recently merged with Initial Facilities Services, Insitu were delighted to be awarded with the Kimberley Clark Professional and CSSA Golden Service Award for ‘Best Cleaned Premises in the Hospitality Sector’. Insitu have provided Thistle’s 16 central London hotels with a consistently high level of service since July 2005.

Commenting after the ceremony Jane Hawley, Director of Hotels, Insitu said: “We are so proud to have been awarded with an ‘Oscar’. The team at Thistle have worked unbelievably hard this year and they deserve to be recognised for their efforts”

Chris Reay, Managing Director, Insitu added: “The ‘Oscars’ are a great way to recognise and reward the often unsung work that takes place in our industry. They give us a chance to offer our appreciation to those that provide an outstanding service day after day.”

The prestigious Golden Service Awards are internationally acknowledged as the hallmark of quality amongst the cleaning and support services industry. This year’s ceremony was held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London, and was hosted by TV personality and ‘Perfect Housewife’, Anthea Turner. It was attended by over 600 finalists and their guests.
