One of the major concerns to businesses, schools, hotels and clinics is indoor air quality because it affects the health, wellbeing and productivity of the people using their buildings.
Airborne particles and gaseous pollutants from industrial activity, vehicles, building materials and many substances that we use indoors contaminate the air that we breathe inside buildings. There is no safe level of airborne pollutants. According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), 50% of people are affected by indoor air pollution and 68% of all diseases are related to air pollution.
The InspireAir purification unit uses a sophisticated filtration system to remove particulates and polluting gases from the air inside rooms to create a safer environment and improve health and wellbeing.
InspireAir 72 has a multi-layer filter that captures 99.97% of harmful particulate and gaseous pollutants. A HEPA filter, in combination with a multifunctional filter, captures the dangerous PM2.5 particles and those larger than 20 nanometres, which include:
An active carbon filter absorbs polluting gases such as formaldehyde and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs). As the filters clean the air around you, you’ll be able to relax in the knowledge you’re breathing in good-quality air. The unit provides real-time information, measuring temperature, humidity, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and levels of airborne particles so you always know the quality of air around you.
The auto-sensor and dynamic operating modes respond instantly and intelligently to varying air quality, which means more polluted air is purified faster without you lifting a finger.
Our experts install and service the air purifier so you don’t have to. They’ll ensure the unit functions at optimum levels and carefully remove and dispose of contaminated filters, leaving you free to breathe easy – round the clock, day in and day out.
InspireAir 72 is suitable for a wide range of environments in offices, schools, hotels, care homes and clinics – anywhere that people can benefit from a healthier, more productive environment.
The unit circulates the air using a fan and draws it through a multilayer filter. The filter removes about 99.97% of airborne particles and polluting gases. The particulates removed include dust, pollen, mould spores, allergenic particles from dust mites and insects such as cockroaches, bacteria and some viruses.
Polluting gases removed include formaldehyde, benzene and other VOCs given off by cleaning products, solvents, carpets, laminated furniture, printers, paints, personal hygiene products, perfumes and cooking.
The unit consumes 90W of electricity when operating at maximum fan speed. When in sleep mode, the unit consumes about 6W.
The noise varies according to the fan speed, from 24-69dB, which ranges from just audible to normal conversation at 1–2 metres. On auto mode, the unit automatically adjusts the fan speed to the amount of pollutants detected in the air by the sensors.
Yes, you can leave it operating all the time. The fan will be on low speed most of the time and will not make much noise or consume much electricity — about the same amount as a computer. The air in a room needs to keep circulating through the unit to maintain good air quality.
The pre-filter can be cleaned and reused multiple times. The composite filter should be replaced every eight weeks and disposed of carefully. Our technicians will carefully change the filter as part of the service.
Yes, InspireAir 72 will help to remove Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) by removing pollutants from the air in a room where the unit is operating – so improving the working environment with better air quality.
SBS is a non-specific condition that can include symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, irritated eyes, nose and throat, nausea and itchy skin. The condition disappears when the person suffering from SBS goes out of the building or indoor pollutants are removed from the air in the building.
Yes, the filter in the unit will remove the airborne allergens that cause hay fever, including pollen, dust mite particles and pet dander. It will also allow asthma sufferers to feel the effects of cleaner air.
