Our air conditioning system (HVAC) already has a HEPA filter, so why do we need this solution?

HVAC systems target the air coming into the space but are not effective at picking up and filtering what is generated in the environment such as coughing. Hence, InspireAir72 HEPA purification unit will ‘partner’ with your current HVAC filtration, cleaning the air as it flows through the room to reduce risk elements within the space.

Is it energy-efficient?

The unit consumes 90W of electricity when operating at maximum fan speed. When in sleep mode, the unit consumes about 6W.

Will it get rid of smells?

Activated carbon filters are one of the most effective ways for not only removing toxic gases, but offensive smells such as cigarette smoke and food odour.

Should I leave the air purifier on all the time?

Yes, you can leave it operating all the time. The auto mode function will optimise the fan speed and will not make much noise or consume much electricity — about the same amount as a computer. The air in a room needs to keep circulating through the unit to maintain good air quality.
