We understand that being a responsible business needs to be a shared goal. We’re here to support you by delivering commercial hygiene services and solutions that protect the people in your business from hygiene risks and enhance your spaces while helping to contribute to your sustainability objectives.
A responsible business needs partners who deliver effective solutions with a lower environmental impact. Partnering with us means choosing from a range of solutions that can help you meet different environmental targets without compromising on hygiene.
*Approved sustainable sources are identified by independent third-party certifications and rigorous ecolabels.
Making responsible choices about your washroom supplies is a powerful way to meet your environmental targets. We offer a range of solutions that are backed by trusted environmental accreditations.
A product’s journey doesn’t end when it’s installed in your washroom. To support sustainability, consider the entire lifecycle of different products — from the energy used to create them to whether they can be recycled at the end of their life.
That’s why we consider the end of life for products in our development pipeline and have innovated products designed to be easier to refurbish or take apart for recycling. This helps us use fewer new materials and make changes towards a more circular economy.

Under our parent company, Rentokil Initial plc, we’re taking the necessary steps to help our customers tackle their environmental impact while working towards our goal of reaching net-zero carbon emissions.
We believe in partnering with suppliers who share our environmental and ethical values, and we use globally recognised standards to ensure this.
Our own dedication to these principles was recognised in 2025 when we received the EcoVadis Silver Sustainability Rating, placing us in the top 15% of all companies assessed. EcoVadis is the world's most geographically spread and most comprehensive provider of sustainability ratings, which assesses the widest ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) categories via third-party assessment. A key part of EcoVadis accreditation is the assessment of Sustainable Procurement.
We apply the same rigorous standards to our own partners. Where available, we prioritise independent, third-party accreditation, such as EcoVadis. When external accreditation is limited, we use our own comprehensive internal rating, conducting assessments against the Rentokil Initial Supplier Management Standard. This standard is regularly reviewed to ensure it meets the highest criteria.
In just over five years, Rentokil Initial has reduced its overall plastic use in packaging and products by 830.7 tonnes.
We’re expanding our battery recycling programmes across our global operations. For example, our team in the Pacific region has successfully diverted 56% of batteries from landfills and recycled 27,819kg of them. In Europe, we're now recycling 71% of all batteries.
As members of EV100, we’re committed to accelerating the transition to electric vehicles. Our goal is to have 100% of our global fleet made up of ultra-low-emission vehicles (ULEVs).
Our award-winning online learning hub, U+, includes a wide range of courses covering different topics relevant to the business and designed to help RI employees thrive.
Among the training courses, several are dedicated to sustainability, designed to help our colleagues champion sustainable and responsible practices in their roles within the business, in their communities and with stakeholders. Since 2022, our team has completed 4,965 courses dedicated to sustainability.
With our Rentokil Initial Cares programme, we support local and global initiatives that align with our purpose of Protecting People, Enhancing Lives and Preserving our Planet.
Over the last five years, donations and matched funding have totalled over £2.5 million, supporting our long-term partnerships to protect lives from malaria, enhance community health, and fight deforestation.
