Organisations re-opening after periods of lockdown are adapting to a ‘new normal’ workplace where keeping people safe, improving well-being and mitigating hygiene risks that cause illnesses should be priorities.
The spread of COVID-19 begins with infected respiratory droplets (being transmitted from person to person or landing on surfaces) and tiny viral particles – aerosols – that can linger in the air for several hours, so an air hygiene strategy that includes air purification and indoor air quality (IAQ) monitoring is essential for enclosed spaces.
In addition to the risk of spreading disease, indoor air can be up to five times more polluted than outdoor air and place additional risks on your employees and visitors. According to the World Health Organization, 92% of people worldwide are affected by poor IAQ and the American Medical Association suggests that 50% of all illnesses are caused or aggravated by polluted indoor air.
InspireAir 72 HEPA 13 is an air purifier that removes harmful particulates, pathogens and polluting gases from the air to create a safer environment and improve the physical and mental well-being of your employees and visitors. The unit provides real-time information and measures temperature, humidity, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and levels of airborne particles, keeping you informed of the quality of the air around you. The auto-sensor and dynamic operating modes respond instantly and intelligently to air quality to clean polluted air quickly and automatically so you don’t have to intervene. As the filters clean the air around you, you’ll be able to relax in the knowledge you’re breathing in better air.
The InspireAir71 HEPA 13 unit generates healthier air with a powerful clean air delivery rate (CADR) of 615.6 m3/hr – this is 86% greater CADR than other units** and powerful enough to clean a 36m2 space in just under 10 minutes.
InspireAir 72 HEPA 13 has a multi-layer filter that captures over 99.95% of airborne particles larger than 0.3 microns. These include:
An active carbon filter removes polluting gases such as formaldehyde and other VOCs.
*All references to HEPA 13 filtration relate to filter material as tested by the manufacturer on air passing through the filter material in a laboratory test
** Other air purifiers have been tested to reveal a typical CADR of 330 m3/hr.
All of our VIRUSKILLER™ Air Purifiers kill 99.9999% of viruses in a single air pass, including Coronavirus*. Installing these units will help to improve your air quality and stop the airborne transmission of infectious illnesses, making indoor spaces safer for customers, visitors, patients and staff.
A range of units offering different coverage areas, VIRUSKILLER™ Air Purifiers feature:
*When independently tested against Coronavirus DF2 (a surrogate for Coronavirus), Adenovirus, Influenza and Polio, the unit was found to kill 99.9999% of viruses on a single air pass

According to the International WELL Buildings Institute, the maintenance of filters is ‘critical’ for ensuring proper air filtration. Poor maintenance of filters has been associated with symptoms such as skin and throat irritation, dry eyes, fatigue, headaches and even Legionnaires' disease.
Our experts install and fully service the air purifier so you don’t have to. They’ll replace used filters carefully and safely – in line with public health guidelines – and regularly inspect the unit to ensure it’s always working at maximum capacity and keeping your employees and visitors protected.
Leased models also offer businesses better overall cost efficiency. With a reduced initial outlay and filter servicing costs that are included, a serviced rental contract can be agreed upon for as little as the price of a cappuccino a day.
The unit circulates the air using a fan and draws it through a multi-layer filter. The HEPA 13 filter materials remove over 99.95% of airborne particles and polluting gases.
The particulates removed include bacteria, viruses, dust, pollen, mould spores and allergenic particles from dust mites and insects such as cockroaches.
Polluting gases removed include formaldehyde, benzene and other VOCs given off by cleaning products, solvents, carpets, laminated furniture, printers, paints, personal hygiene products, perfumes and cooking.

The unit consumes 90W of electricity when operating at maximum fan speed. When in ‘sleep mode’, the unit consumes about 6W.
The noise varies according to the fan speed, from 19.5–56.1dB(A), which ranges from just audible to normal conversation levels at 1–2 metres. On ‘auto mode’, the unit automatically adjusts the fan speed – and subsequent noise – to the level of pollutants detected in the air by the sensors. There’s also a ‘sleep mode’ option for use in quieter areas.
The pre-filter can be cleaned and re-used multiple times. The composite filter should be replaced every eight weeks, depending on the level of your indoor air quality, and disposed of in line with public health guidelines. Our technicians will carefully change the filter as part of the service.
Yes, InspireAir 72 HEPA 13 will help to reduce Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) by removing pollutants from the air in the room where the unit is operating and improving the working environment with better air quality.
SBS is a non-specific condition that can include symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, irritated eyes, nose and throat, nausea and itchy skin. The condition disappears when the person suffering from SBS goes out of the building or indoor pollutants are removed from the air in the building
Yes, the filter in the unit will remove the airborne allergens that cause hay fever, including pollen, dust mite particles and pet dander. It will also allow asthma sufferers to feel the effects of cleaner air.
